Competition announcement

Invitation for Open Book Questionnaire Competition (Delhi - NCR)

Invitation

Respected Sir/Madam,

Sadar Jai Jinendra.

On the auspicious occasion of the spiritual Chaturmas 2026 of Vyakhyatri Mahasati Pujya Shri Bhagyaprabha Ji M.Sa. and her group of 8, who follow the command of Param Pujya Acharya Pravar Shri Heerachandra Ji M.Sa. and Bhavi Acharya Pravar Shri Mahendra Muni Ji M.Sa., an innovative and knowledge-enriching event, "Mystery of Jain History – Open Book Questionnaire Competition", is being organised under the auspices of Sakal Jain Samaj, Delhi.

This competition is based on the 40-part book series titled "Fundamental Episodes of Jain History", which includes inspiring, glorious, and history-shaping episodes from the first Tirthankar Bhagwan Rishabhdev to the present Acharya tradition.

Today's youth are connected with many sources of modern knowledge, but they are comparatively less familiar with our rich Jain history and the inspiring lives of great Tirthankars, Acharyas, monks, nuns, shravaks, and shravikas, filled with sacrifice, penance, restraint, and remarkable life events. This competition is not merely an exam, but a campaign of swadhyay, self-awakening, and the revival of Jain pride.

By studying these inspiring episodes of Jain history—

• Faith, trust, and pride toward Jain Dharma and Jinshasan increase.

• The lives of Tirthankars and great personalities inspire struggle, success, sacrifice, restraint, and inner strength.

• Positive thinking, character building, and values develop among youth and students.

• Through the penance of swadhyay, knowledge increases and the path of self-upliftment is strengthened.

• After knowing the glorious chapters of Jain history, the heart naturally says—

"With devotion we said – I Love Jainism"

"After reading history, you will say – I Salute Jainism"

Our humble request is that you kindly spread information about this competition to your Shri Sangh, institution, sabha, women's mandal, youth mandal, and all member families, and inspire the maximum number of shravaks, shravikas, youth, and students to register and participate.

Your support will play an important role in taking the message of Jain history, inspiration, pride, and swadhyay to thousands of families.

Last date for registration: 30 June 2026

Registration fee: ₹200/- including 40 books

For more information and registration, the organising committee may be contacted.

With expectations of your cooperation, guidance, and inspiration.

Respectfully submitted,

Sakal Jain Samaj, Delhi
